Discriminate Against Dust
To get accurate seed counts, you rely on your seed tube sensors. But OEM optical sensors aren't reliable in dusty conditions like windy days or near tires kicking up dust. Reporting dust as seeds affects your population and gives you inaccurate information. WaveVision sensors and seed tubes don't depend on optics, but rather, a high-frequency sensor. They count only the actual seeds, for the most accurate plant count. No optical sensor also means no dust to clean off to stay accurate.
